     Hi, 

         I installed WindowsXP in my system But from long time i am facing this problem.. After Installation when i Disconnect DVD Writer from system then OS doesn't start. Its boot up to Windows XP Black Screen but after that its rebooting the system. But when i reconnect the DVD Writer to System. Then OS Booting Proper. Can anyone Help me on this problem.

    Please Help me on this......

    You need to go into the motherboard's BIOS and set your hard drive as the first boot drive.

    I already tried that but no changes. Whenever i am going to made hardware changes. I am facing that problem. When i add hardware like PCI Card, USB, Sound Card. I am not facing any problem. But when i change the Hard Driver Like DVD or Other Hard Disk. I am facing this problem. Please Help me on This....

    Are there any traces in Event log?

    Can you reconstruct what you did before it started to behave like this?
