ExBPA Site folder server deleted RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

We recently migrated from exchange 2003 to exchange 2010, during the migration we had a few issues with Public Folders the folders had migrated but a couple were stuck in the old Exchange which made decommissioning an issue so had to go with the dirty method of using ADSI Edit to remove it.

Now after running ExBPA it shows an error regarding Site Folder server deleted, I looked at the Microsoft Article but in ADSI Edit we dont have any stores showing for the old Exchange Administrative Group.

In CN=Configuration,DC=ourname,DC=local,CN=Services,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Administrative Groups I see two groups one is our new Exchange server administrative group the second is our old one but under CN=Servers there are no folders I can edit.

I have seen articles where some are saying just delete the Administrative group you dont need in our case that would be the old Administrative Group, so is it safe to delete this?

    Any advice would be great.
