Error in Gantt Chart RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am facing following problem in my Gantt Chart. Following error is being displayed in Chart Errors section:

Value cannot be null. Parameter name: strUrl

System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: strUrl at Microsoft.SharePoint.Utilities.SPUtility.ThrowArgumentExceptionWithTraceTag(UInt32 tagId, ULSCat traceCategory, String argumentName, String argumentLocalizedMessage, String traceMessage, Type argumentExceptionType) at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPWeb.GetList(String strUrl) at Microsoft.Office.Server.Internal.Charting.Data.DataSourceWebList.get_Data() at Microsoft.Office.Server.WebControls.ChartDataBinding.GetEnumerableData(Chart designtimeChart, Int32 index) at Microsoft.Office.Server.WebControls.ChartDataBinding.Bind(Chart designtimeChart, Chart renderChart, Int32 index) at Microsoft.Office.Server.WebControls.ChartWebPart.BindData(Chart designtimeChart, Chart renderChart) at Microsoft.Office.Server.WebControls.ChartWebPart.PrepareRenderChart(Chart designtimeChart, Chart renderChart, Boolean initialize)

Kindly tell me what is the problem. I don't know how this Gantt Chart is being implemented, where its code is.

  • Hi,

    Sorry for my late reply.

Would you please let us know “how” this error occurred?

Did you edit/modify/delete some project items in list?

Thanks for your understanding and explanation!

    Best Regards,

    Aaron

  • Hi,

I have solved the problem. Actually the data was not bound to the gantt chart web part that is why above exception was being occured.

    Thanks,
