Supported recoverable items in SC 2012 DPM SP1 for Exchange Server 2013? RRS feed

  • Hello everyone,

    What are the items I can restore in case I am using SC 2012 DPM with SP1 for back-up Exchange Server 2013? can I restore single email, single mailbox?!

  • Hi,

    DPM 2012 SP1 supports the following mailbox database and mailbox recovery scenarios:

    • Recovering all protected Exchange Data
    • Recovering a mailbox database
    • Recovering a specific mailbox

    Nothing has changed with the recovery process. You have to use a Recovery Database to recover a single mailbox and Exchange cmdlets to recover a single e-mail.
