  • Could you provide the custom MDX and your default parameter value?

For the filter are you passing in a single value or multiple?  If you are passing in multiple then you will need to make sure you include curly braces {} for the SET of values and make sure the parameter <<ParamterName>> is enclosed in them.

Here is a sample posting to take a look at for example:

  • Please go through the article Dan suggested that is exactly what you need to do.

    Quick step:

    1. Add parameters to the report, that would be from the bottom of the page (insert parameter).

    2. In your WHERE clause use these parameters like:

    WHERE (<<pRegion>>, <<pDate>>)

    3. Go to dashboard and on linking your filters these parameters would be available on report. Link them and run your report.

  • Thanks for the reply I'm doing same thing but still i'm not getting proper results

in my custom MDX query just I'm calculating the Avg, STD, Upper level points and Lower level Points for one measure

and I want pass the 5 filters so that I added where Caluse and as well as the parameter

    like

    WHERE

    ( {[Region].[Region ].DEFAULTMEMBER,<<Region>>}, {[Date].[Date Hierarchy].DEFAULTMEMBER,<<Dtae Hierarchy>>} )

I'm using this but when i deploy after applying the connection between filter and chart  its giving same values after applying the filter it means filter is not effecting the chart

i'm i doing any mistake, please help me to resolve this

    Thanks in advance
