Open resource mailbox as additional mailbox in OWA

Question
-
Hi there
Trying to open a resource mailbox as an additional mailbox in OWA but get the error below. User A was configured with Full mailbox access and send on behalf permissions. Have also just created a Security Group, assigned this group Full access and Send on Behalf and added user to this group, same issue.
Open in Outlook as additional mailbox works though ?!?!?!

Hello stephanef,
Since you can open it in Outlook as an additional mailbox, this seems you have full access permission on that resource mailbox.
I suggest you follow these steps to troubleshoot in OWA:
<1> Make sure you have not inputted the wrong name for resource mailbox.
<2> Check whether other users (with full access permission on resource mailbox) can open the resource mailbox.
If others can open the resource mailbox well, but you cannot, you can re-set the full access permission to have a try.
If all the users cannot open that resource mailbox, this may issue on that resource mailbox.
Thanks,

What Exchange version?
As an aside, in my experience giving users full access to a resource mailbox is bad practice. It usually ends up in double bookings, meetings locations getting moved without the attendees being notified, and appointments scheduled with reminders set that are never going to fire and eventually will have to be cleared manually.
