Publishing RD web access throigh ISA 2008 using RDS Gateway RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I have a test site which is configured with one server hosting RDS gateway and RDS connection broker ( Internal) with another server hosting RDSSH and RDWEB.

There is no perimeter network just ISA. all servers are using external certs ( wildcard) with matching FQDN. I have published rds gateway on ISA so that external clients are using the remote desktop via ISA then  RDS gateway to access the RDSSH hosts

I'm now wanting to do the same for RDwebaccess. I want to externall users to access RDweb through ISA to RDS Gateway internal to the  RDweb server and I'm unable to find  anything on the forums on this. does anyone have any experience with this? Or is there a better way of doing this?

    Many thanks for anyones help

    Kind regards

  • Hi,

In my opinion, you can use the ISA server to publish the RD web access page. But in this case, the external server still use the port 3389 to communicate with the RDS host server, so you need to open the port 3389 on your firewall to allow the traffic to go through.
