1440 minute limit on Computer Restart Temporary Notification

Question
-
We have a department within our SCCM deployment that needs to provide an initial notification for required computer restarts (e.g., to apply Microsoft updates) where that initial notification is provided to the user more than a day in advance. However, best I can tell, the Client Device Seetting -> Computer Restart -> "Display a temporary notification to the user..." setting has a hard coded maximum value of 1440 minutes (i.e., one day). Can this maximum value be modified or overridden so that a group could configure a set of Client Device settings to provide an initial/temporary notification of a restart 2880 (or any other desired number of) minutes in advance of the restart? Or, is it truly a hard-coded value in SCCM?Tuesday, February 3, 2015 9:05 PM

Hi,
it is truly a hard coded value in the product. I would solve a requirement like that with communication and information instead,.. email, intranet or something like that informing the users that updates will be installed on a specific date.
