SCOM 2012 Data Warehouse and Reporting SDK SQL Authentication Accounts RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am currently testing scom 2012 and wrongly changed the credentials for titled "RUN AS" accounts. I have followed the instrcution suggested by many entering "A SPACE" on user name and password (x2) fields but it doesn't accept the change then crash the scom console. (see the snapshot below)

Is there any workaround for this, or powershell commands to achieve this? HELP!

  • Since it is only the test environment, I have reinstalled SCOM. I will never touch that RUN AS account!!

Please also try typing in a space under Account name and see how it works. Meanwhile, please also see the following post for details:

    SCOM2007 - Login failed for user '<Account name>'.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

  • Thank you for your advise. I did visit the website you recommended already and typed a space under account name but no success...
