WSS 3.0 Co-Existing with Exchange Server RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm required to install Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0 on a Small Business Server 2008 running Exchange Server 2007. I know that installing WSS in this server will make Outlook Web Access inaccessible. I need specific instructions on how to make WSS and OWA co-exist on the same server. I would prefer to do this by using different DNS aliases (URL's) for the server, as opposed to running either website on a non-standard port.

For example, OWA might be accessed via:
    https://servername.domain.com/owa/

while Sharepoint might be accessed via:
    http://sharepoint.domain.com/

I'm not sure if SSL will be required for the Sharepoint site, but it might be desirable.

    Thanks in advance,
    Richard Koett.
