How to Disable Out-of-date ActiveX Control RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear all,

    Good day! I have a question to ask.

    As we all know, a new feature, block out-of-date activeX, was added.

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ie/archive/2014/08/06/internet-explorer-begins-blocking-out-of-date-activex-controls.aspx

    Now I face such an issue:

    1. Due to the security policies, I cannot add the site to trusted zone;

    2. Due to the system requirment, I cannot upgrade Java to the latest version.

    So my question is: How do I disable this feature of Internet zone?

    Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi, the block-out-of-date-activex-control feature, can be disabled.
    This is mentioned in the article you have provided, including further links to the steps to do so (use the updated ADMX template in GPO)

    e.g.: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn761713.aspx
