Video Call Getting Disconnected RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Folks,

We have Lync 2013 deployed in our organisation and we have Lync 2013 hybrid configured with Skype for business online. Now when users are making Video Call or Audio Call everything works fine for 10 minutes but after sometime calls are automatically getting disconnected. We have all required ports open IN/OUT.

We are having 5 mbps dedicated line for Lync Server.

We are using websesne DLP and Radware Loadbalancer as reverse proxy.

Please guide me how can trace the network logs whether this is network problem or configuration problem ?

    Thanks Satyam Gupta

  • Hi,

you can check tracing log and use snooper to see if it gives any result. Tracing file can be found here:

    C:\Users\user1\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Lync\Tracing

Replace user1 with the correct user ID on issue computer.

And replace 16.0 with 15.0 if you are using older version.

Are you at latest client update?

  • Hi,

As it is a hybrid environment, please check if the issue happen with both users who homed at Lync Server On-Premises side, or both homed at SFB Online side, or just happen one homed at Lync Server On-Premises side and another homed at SFB online side.

On Lync Server side, check if there is any Event Viewer log about Lync.

Make sure there is no network issue when the issue happen.

Try to restart FE Services to test the issue.

On Skype for Business Online side, check if there is any warning on the admin page.

Make sure Lync Server update to the latest version as well.

    Best Regards
