  • Question

  • I am running Windows 7 Home on a newer pc {64-bit} and it's up to date as far as Windows products, but almost everytime it says there's updates and I select {almost} all of them to download, the pc says 'do not turn off', and this screen just stays 'on'...with no eventual restart. I end up doing a restart and all seems well. Why? This has been going on for several months now: it doesn't seem to update and restart, yet the updates are done and a manual restart seems to resolve things {{via several 'update registry' messages appear}.

  • Hi,

The computer is configurating the updates at that time. Please do not turn off the computer in the future. This process need to spend time to finish. You may just leave it alone and wait a moment.
