Please Help! BOOTMGR and CRCDISK.SYS RRS feed

    Everytime I have tried to load the Windows Vista DVD it pops up with this message:

    CDBOOT: Couldn't find BOOTMGR

    and when I boot without the cd it freezes on this

    CRCDISK.SYS

    I can't load the cd to get into the repair tool and replace drivers that are not responding. Is there any other way to do it or is there something I am missing?

    Seems we are in the same boat...

    I was trying to install Ubuntu in my Vista hard drive by shrinking Vista and making a new partition, I did, I couldnt install Ubuntu, and I erased the new partitions I made and increased the size of Vista to the way it was, to my surprise that Vista wont boot again and neither the dang DVD, still havent figure out what to do, and I think is the dang CRCDISK.SYS, cause when i try to boot in Sfe Mode thats the last driver to load before it freezes...
