Office rearm counter KMS

Question

Hi Folks,
we are deploying Office through an Image and license Office with a kms host. A Problem that occured is that the rearm counter went to -1.
Is there a way to reset that Counter? Our Clients end up with the same cmid, despite being rearmed and generalized before the Image is created. This behaviour leads to the licensed Client Counter get below 5 which leads to new Clients not being able to activate.
Is there a way to reset the office rearm Counter on the kms host? And is there a best practice for Image deployment while using office and kms? I doubt that it can only be possible in a corporate Environment to deploy 5 Images with a rearm and be done after that, because the kms Server doenst have another rearm in it?
Im happy for any help I can get.
Best wishes

As far as I know, we have no way to reset the Office rearm count. If you run out of rearms, you might consider uninstalling and reinstalling Office on the reference computer.

Hi Ethan,
I have attempted to uninstall Microsoft Office using Add/Remove then running the Microsoft VB script and the Microsoft fixme tool, but I continue to receive the 0xc004d307 error message once Microsoft Office is reinstalled. Is there an issue with the volume licensed version of Microsoft Office that does not allow an uninstall and reinstall to reset the rearm count to 5?
Regards
