DPM Reporting Fails after SQL Server 2012R2 upgrade RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a DPM Server 2012R2 that was running SQL Server 2008R2 on the same server.  I did an in-place upgrade to SQL Server 2012R2 and it seem to go fine.  However, when I go to DPM Report Viewer, I now get an error when I try and view a report:

    • Failed to load expression host assembly. Details:
Could not load file or assembly 'ReportSRV4, Version=1.0.523.0, Culture=neutral,
PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot
      find the file specified. (rsErrorLoadingExprHostAssembly)

Also, when I try and edit a report, I get:

The report you requested could not be found on the SQL Server Reporting Services server.Repair your DPM installation using the steps described in the System Center 2012 R2 DPM Deployment Guide.

    ID: 3006

Should I follow this tech document to uninstall and reinstall DPM 2012R2 (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh758162.aspx) ?

    Thanks,

    Chris
