  • Question

  • Hello,

My mother purchased microsoft office online on the store. This was back in the fall of 2012. I am helping her out. Anyways, when she purchased it, she said there was a problem and she couldn't download it. She has been sick with what we think is lyme disease. Very, very bad disease! She doesn't have her product key anymore. She's gotten an email from microsoft to try download it again but it still doesn't work. What can I do? We use our Macbook pro for microsoft office everyday. Please help!

So it's Microsoft Office for Mac, not the Windows-based version?

Please take a look at this KB article and see how to replace a lost product key. It depends on how you purchased it: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2279109/en-us

Also, this is the forum to discuss questions and feedback for Windows-based Microsoft Office client. For questions related to Office for mac, I would suggest you to post in the forum of Office for Mac, where you can get more experienced responses:

It's recommended to download and install Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT), which is developed by Microsoft Support teams. Once the tool is installed, you can run it at any time to scan for hundreds of known issues in Office programs.
