Adding Large images To the side of sharepoint site RRS feed

  •  Im trying to add a long Image to the right side of this sharepoint site but this is what I get as you can see it just shows the image as a thumbnail with some other categories how do i just add the picture and make it large. This is my first time using sharepoint just so you know.

  • The two most common ways are:

    • Add an Image web part and enter the URL to the image in your picture library (but you can't resize the image)
    • Add a Content Editor Web Part and insert and resize the image - you can also add any other text or formatting for a caption

    You can control the display also by setting the height and width of the webpart that contains your image. Try changing the values of webpart height and width.

  • If you're new to SharePoint and aren't too sure how to achieve Mike's suggestion, click "Edit Web Part" on the drop down and click the appearance tab on the Web Part editing options on the right of your screen.

    You can resize the image here as needed.
