Is it safe to change the computer's name after UAG is already up-and-running? RRS feed

  • What is the correct procedure for doing that?

  • Changing the name or IP of the machine are not supported, so the recommended procedure is to uninstall everything, change the name and reinstall - just like Jason suggested.

  • Not 100% sure, but you probably need to export config, uninstall UAG, change name, install UAG, import config.

    If you are using UAG DA, there will probably be other considerations too...
