DPM limitation RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I need to know when to stop adding servers to my DPM. What is the limitation for DPM. Is it per server? Is it per PG? or is it per Protection members?

  • Hi

On a single DPM server based on minimum requirements you can have:

9000 snapshots of 300 datasources (volume, share, database) based on 75 servers and 150 clients

    Manage 80 TB of data

  • Hi Robert,

And by 300 datasources which means members inside PG

    For Example

if a SQL have 10 databases. then its 10 datasources.

If exchange have 2 databases and 1 public folder thats 3 datasources.

If a server that have data on E drive thats 1 datasource.

    Right?
