Windows XP does not Shutdown/restart/logoff RRS feed

    Hi all,

    Windows xp pro sp3 systems does not shutdown or Restart or Log off. Tired installing user  profile Hive cleanup but did not worked. Checked the event veiwer getting Event ID: 1517 and Event ID: 1524.

    We are still having 300 windows XP systems and most of them are having this problems.

    Please help.

    I've have this problem also

    but have found that i can reboot using  taskmanger   to boot, or shut down
