Word 2010 still does not return activeprinter portnumber?

Question

Is there still no fix for the bug in Word 2010 not giving the portnumber in VBA, when invoking ActivePrinter?
ActivePrinter should give "<printer> on NE<nn>", but gives only "<printer>".
(It is necessary when asking for DeviceCapabilities(....), to get information about i.e. paper-type.)

It's recommended to download and install Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT), which is developed by Microsoft Support teams. Once the tool is installed, you can run it at any time to scan for hundreds of known issues in Office programs.- Marked as answer by George123345 Wednesday, October 15, 2014 1:30 AM

Hi George,
Thanks for your reply. I know that solution and some others. But it's a work-around and not a bug-fix...

Luuk
