Time Zone changing in Sakhalin, Russia (March, 2016) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

On March, 27th Sakhalin island will be moved from Time Zone (UTC+10:00) Vladivostok, Magadan (RTZ9) to Time Zone (UTC+11:00) Chokurdakh (RTZ10).

There are ~3500 users in out company and currently we are trying to understand if it will be DST patch (KB) for this purpose or not? Should we use some script which will change Time Zones on users' PCs or wait for KB from MS?

Obviously It's not good to ask  for 3500 users to change it manually.

    Thanks in advance.

  • No updates of now, better to use GPO or tzutil rather thn wait for a patch. :)

  • TZUTIL will help I think, but anyway we need to get information if MS will release any KB for this case.

    But thanks for your advise.
