  • SharePoint 2010 presented organization chart within a users page. With SharePoint 2013 this is not turned on by default. Each user can browse to their MySites and then click on Sites from the top Right hand corner and choose to customize this page,  under their name to “Personalize this page” the Add Web Part -> Under Social Collaboration -> you will find Organization Browser.

  • This must be different for SP Online. I went to the My Site of a colleague (About Me) and there is the Organisational Chart.

    Edit

I just wrote a quick blog about it:

  • And that's why it is so confusing.

Going to your own "About Me" page doesn't give the same info as it is for your colleagues. I agree about the "In common" part but not about the "Org Chart" one. I see the latter as a "controlling option" for keeping an up-to-date AD.

  • It's by design behavior.  Check this post http://blogs.msdn.com/b/chandru/archive/2013/04/01/sp15-organization-chart-in-mysites.aspx
