Remove From My Forums

I have by mistake disabled the user profile service in the services section in Administrative Tools & now The desktop has changed

Hi,

I was not able to use the computer in normal mode, it was only working in Safe Mode. so to check the issues I had disabled the User Profile Service. But now the complete desktop has changed & I am not able to view any of my files. Please guide to solve this issue asap

FYI...

Repair Installation For Vista
This will allow you to repair your Vista installation and keep all of your personal user account files, settings, and programs.
You will be performing a Upgrade Install from within your currently running Vista.

I would do a repair install from the vista cd/dvd. Google how to.
