Lync: Fax integration with an ATA Box RRS feed

    Hello

    I would like to integrate a fax machine with an ATA box in our Lync infrastrusture. I have read the "planning to deploy analog devices" but can not help. I get the following error message when creating an contact object for the analog device:
    powershell command:
    New-CsAnalogDevice -LineUri tel:+41329999999 -DisplayName "Fax I Zentrale" -RegistrarPool server.local.ch -AnalogFax $True -Gateway 192.168.2.204 -OU "ou=Admins,dc=isolutions,dc=ch"
    error message: Cannot find gateway "192.168.2.204" in service assignment.

    Do I need to create an PSTN Gateway Object in the Topology Builder and is there a  need to configure a trunk in the Control Panel?

    The gateway must exist in the topology and must be physically installed. It handles all calls for this analog device in combination with the ATA. Some gateway vendors support ATAs, others have their own analog interfaces built in. We (at Ferrari electronic) support both ways.
