  • Hi Gagandeep,

You can get the current FQDN's\ IP addresses of your EDGE server from the current topology. Run from the Front End.

So once you have that, just build a new server based on that info. There's plenty of docs out there detailing the build. Here's one for instance:

Build your server and then copy the topology from the Front End (export-csconfiguration) to the EDGE.

Run the Deployment Wizard on the EDGE, assuming you've configured the FQDN the same as before, it will see itself in the topology and deploy the correct roles.

Hopefully you have a backup of the public certificates somewhere to load onto the EDGE but I'm sure you can get another copy from your provider.

Make sure you have on your EDGE:

    1) Static Routes defined

    2) Certificates installed

    3) IP addresses configured correctly (Both on your External and Internal NIC)

    Good luck.

  • Hi Gagandeep,

If you want to reinstall Edge, remove Edge server from Topology Builder is enough, and then republish the topology.

After that, please try to run Stop-CsWindowsService to stop SFB services on the Edge Server, then re-run the SFB Server Deployment Wizard to redeploy it.
