Auto Schedule is giving incorrect dates RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have added all the start and finish dates and based on that I wanted to keep it on auto schedule. Its giving incorrect dates on auto schedule. Unable to attach screenshot at this moment in this forum.

    You are going about things incorrectly.  When you manually type Start and Finish dates for tasks, Microsoft Project automatically sets a constraint on each task.  I recommend you remove all of the constraints in our project schedule.  Then, specify task dependencies between every task in your project schedule to show Microsoft Project the sequence in which tasks will occur.  After doing this, enter a Duration value for every task.  Once you have completed these steps, Microsoft will show you the schedule of each task in the Start and Finish fields.  Just a thought.  Hope this helps.
