Form not keeping format. RRS feed

  • I am trying to create a template for a form that calculates currency that also allows the user to remove and add cells.  The document calculates fine when the document is protected.  However, when I remove the restrictions to the document to be able to remove cells and then type an amount in the cell it loses its format.  Does a document have to be protected to keep it's form format?  If not how to do I keep the form format in the cell and allow the user to add and delete rows.  The document is created in word 2010 and I used the legacy form to create it.

  • There's some sample code at: http://www.gmayor.com/word_vba_examples.htm under the sub heading "Add a row to a table in a protected form". The code shows how to add a row to a table and complete the properties for the cells in that new row including unique bookmark names. Deleting a row is much simpler, in that you don't have to worry about so many fomratting & formfield niceties.
