  • Hi!

    I am using Winodws 2003 R2 X64 for Exchange 2007 Server and I want to install the MOM for monitoring Mail server, and I have some question as:

    1. Which version of MOM that stable for my Exchange 2007 Server?
    2. Can I install MOM in the same server that running Microsoft Exchange 2007 Server?
    3. Please me some Idea for MOM configuration if i have more than 150 users of Exchange Server.

  • As per my knowledge you can use MOM 2005 to monitor it, But also new version have mangamnet pack for Exchnage 2003 which can be use for monitor.

    You can not use MOM on same exchnage server as MOM need some backend databse like SQL.

  • Mainstream support for MOM has ended on Jan 12, 2010 (Reference). If you have extended support, you can still call Microsoft Customer Support Service (CSS) for assistance [US, outside of US]

    You can use System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) to monitor exchange 2007. The resources below is the exchange 2007 management pack for SCOM 2007 R2 and the guide which would be helpful
