What tools are available to follow a workflow Id# back to the workflow? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are on a MOSS SP2007 SP3 farm. We have 1700 subsites, so finding a workflow is a non-trivial task.

In the few days there have been a number of ULS entrys that say:

    -----

I am uncertain how to follow the workflow Id# back to where the workflow resides. If I can get back there, I can either figure out the problem, or at least, I can contact the owner to let them know they have a problem.

Within our environment we have out of box workflows, SharePoint Designer workflows, 3rd party (AgilePoint) workflows that I know of and probably a variety of things that I don't know about.

Anyone have points to techniques or tools to follow this back?

  • Hello lwvirden,

Open Workflow history list by typing http://sitename/Lists/workflow%20history/allitems.aspx

This will give you a list of Workflow associated IDs

Let us know if this helps

  • All I see is a blank page when I go to this URL on my farm.  The URL is changed to:

    http://myfarm/_layouts/spsredirect.aspx?oldUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fmyfarm%2FLists%2Fworkflow%2520history%2Fallitems%2Easpx
