  • Hi,

its called the dev tool.... its built in and you invoke it by pressing f12.

the tab finder extension you referenced is for chromium desktop browsers. They (webkit) and gecko use an addon/extension model invented for Netscape... MSIE browsers use either scripted or DCOM addons and plugins (C++ or js).

To 'find' an active tab, hover your mouse over the taskbar IE icon or Alt+tab to display the Window list.

  • What I mention is this: http://studiobinghuan.blogspot.tw/2013/11/ie-extension-helper.html

    “IE Extension Helper”.

It’s similar to the skeleton of chrome extension.

This is an extension builder for web developer to generate a Microsoft Internet extension easily.

Usually, web developer might be not familiar with C++/C or C# programming languages.

After checking the chrome, Firefox and safari extension framework, they also provide the convenient way to let developer to develop browser extension by using HTML5 technology. Let web developer not be afraid to build up a browser extension. It’s because they can use the original web development skill to make one extension.

But in Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft does not provide the extension framework for web developer to build up a extension easily. So, I just create one to let web developer build an extension easily.

I wonder to know, why does Microsoft not just have this one to build IE Extension easily
