    Hi all,

    Can anyone tell me the what field names are in the SharePoint Usage logs? In order they appear in the logs.

    I typed in google SharePoint Usage Log fields and went to the following link: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb814929(v=office.12).aspx but the field are different to what is in my SharePoint Usage logs

    Also when I look at my SharePoint Usage log sometimes the user is missing (i guess logged in as annoynmous), sometimes some of the referal url is missing (i guess when user initally types the url). I guess if something is missing an empty space appears?? Is that correct?

    ie sometimes it does this:

    A922-44CE-87F3-605BD7697FC2 15:00:21 http://cs224/sites/Home3.0 default.aspx    Mozilla/4.0

    Others it does this:

    87F3-605BD7697FC2 15:01:34 http://cs224/sites/Home3.0 funds/forms/allitems.aspx   http://cs224/sites/home/default.aspx Mozilla/4.0

    I could not quite understand what you meant by missing username however, there is a tool for viewing logs more user-friendly

    It's hard to read the logs with notepad like tools really, maybe you could try this. but I strongly recommend to use it on test or pre-prod environment first
