Windows 7 Enterprise doesn´t complete update apply RRS feed

  • Question

  •  I´ve deployed via SCCM 2012 R2 the last updates of this month (July, 2015), after install the updates some computers restarted and stopped on that screen "Applying update operation 19541 of 23141 (\Registry\machi...)". Sometimes if you restart manually it finishes applying and starts the OS normally.
     In some cases the computer finishes applying the updates but goes to that Windows Repair screen, I believe because it´s too many times restarted abruptly.

    Important information:

    - Windows 7 Enterprise;
    - Computers are encrypted with Symantec PGP and there´s some computers with Bitlocker. ;
    - Issue only happens with a specific computer model: Laptop -> HP Folio 9470m;

  • Hi Mpavani,

    Have you checked the problematic machines for any failed update? Did the issue disappear when we remove the KB3067505? Are there any error messages recorded in the Event Viewer?

    Considering this issue only occurred with the HP Folio 9470m machine, we could try to update the BIOS to have a check.

    To troubleshoot this issue deeply, please check the event viewer for more information.

    Event Viewer\Windows Logs\Application, System,Setup

    Best regards
