Address Book 3.0 - Window 7 Incompatible Program

I need to load Address Book 3.0, put out by Parson Technology which no longer makes this program, to my new laptop.

I tried to change the compatibility to the last good working program - Windows XP, but it is still coming up with this message - The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need a 32-bit or 64-bit version of the program then contact the software publisher.

As stated earlier Parson Technology is no longer making this program, which in itself isn't the latest version, so I can't get a Windows 7 version. I'm not sure what to do next.

Go to the following web address

and perform a query to find compatibility informations for your program.

You could also use virtualization: if you run Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate, you can download and install Windows Virtual PC with XP Mode (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx), to have a 32 bit Windows XP Professional SP3 environment in which you can run your old program; otherwise, you can install a virtualization program, like Microsoft Virtual PC (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=28C97D22-6EB8-4A09-A7F7-F6C7A1F000B5&displaylang=en), Sun VirtualBox (http://www.virtualbox.org) or VMware Workstation (http://www.vmware.com), create a new virtual machine and install your favourite operating system and applications.
