    Hi


    I have been using a microsoft natural wireless desktop (keyboard + mouse) for over a year.  I recently got a bluetooth wireless desktop and installing it has totally messed up my computer.  The keyboard is no longer recognized (what I mean is only the power button is recognized, none of the other keys are recognized).  Of course, the function lock key is also recognized, but I think it is totally handled withing the keyboard.

     

    It looks like some scan code conversion has gone bad.  I am not able to use either a PS/2 keyboard or mouse or USB keyboard or mouse with this system.

     

    Is there an easy fix for this.  The computer otherwise boots up ok

    Thanks for your reply - Unfortunately it did not help.  I guess some keyboard configuration got corrupted with the bluetooth receiver installation.  I ended up reinstalling the OS
