Query by Form, I am getting error, 3464, data mismatch RRS feed

  • Dear all,

    I have a form with combo box to enable user to select operator such that <=, =, >= and textfield for entering specific amount like 10000 or 20000 or 50000 etc. when I refering these both variables in crieteria expression, getting runtime error 3464 , datatype mismatch msg.
    table field Total_Value (datatype is Number)
    ComboBox = cbTV     (for <, >=, <=, > signs)
    TextField    =  txtTV   (for desired amount)
    I Expression entered


    if want to display all records where Total value is >=20000
    then what will be the accurate syntax to reffer these form control to query design crieteria.

    plz help

    From your description, your question is not a SQL Server Reporting Services question. I would suggest you reposting the question in appropriate forum to get more help.

    By the way, from the error message "datatype mismatch ", the issue seems to be caused by the datatype mismatch.  We need to convert the txtTV to integer explicit.
