Hi,
Disk queue length is a measurement of the disk performance, which can't be changed with a reg edit. You'd have to do something to improve the disk subsystem performance.

Hi,
Quoted from above link:
Improve the disk subsystem perfomance---->install faster drives, a faster RAID type, faster controller.
However per my research, Current Disk Queue Length (in some earlier versions of Performance Monitor, this counter was named Disk Queue Length), is the number of requests outstanding on the disk at the time the performance data is collected. In other words, how many requests have stacked up waiting for the disk drive to be able to service them. If the value is larger, it indicates a potential disk bottleneck and further investigation and monitoring other disk metrics is recommended.

But if you are referring to improve the performance of disk, please check link in first reply.
