I have configured NPS as radius proxy to authenticate VPN clients using RSA secure ID. I can see the NPS detecting the missing updates on the VPN client (Win xp sp3), but for reason client is not able to download the missing patches. When I configure as NPS as radius proxy will the network policy will get applied to the client? If so what should be configured so that the clients gets missing updates.
No, Network Policies are only processed and applied to authentication requests when NPS is acting as the terminating RADIUS server.
