  • hi,

    In DPM 2012 when I want to create a recovery point, it hangs for ever! any idea why is that?

  • Hello!

    I don't see "unresponsive" (it hangs for ever) at the picture. It's a normal working process of creating recovery point.

    You can push the button "Close" and go t0 Monitoring console in the filter "All jobs in progress" or "Today's jobs". And you can see you task with creating recovery point.

  • thank you. you are right! it does not show but it takes for ever! i mean a folder of 12 mb test, should not take 4 hours for a single recovery point. 

    any idea?

    You can recreate (exclude and include) protection for this ROOT folder! In your case: " C:\..."

    Also you can use button "Refresh" to delete DPM console cache.
