Capture not working RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm not sure why this stopped working all of a sudden but when I try to do a capture in about 30 seconds it goes to "Operating system deployment successfully. The computer is now ready to use. 0 errors and 0 warnings"  Although I'm trying to run the task sequence to capture the image. The task sequence is enabled, it's set to sysprep and capture. My customsettings.ini is below.  I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong and any help would be appreciated.

  • I do not see in the cs.ini how you specified the task sequence to sysprep and capture. The non-exhaustive list of variables I'm looking for are:

      DoCapture = "YES"
      ComputerBackupLocation = "%DeployRoot%\Captures"
      BackupFile = "%TaskSequenceID%.wim"

  • Well when I do a pxe boot and select capture from the wizard I was expecting it to run the capture task sequence (it worked previously without having to replace my cs file).  If I replace my cs with what I have below it works fine.  What I am trying to accomplish though is the ability to select a Capture or Deploy task sequence through the wizard, then automated after that point.  With what you are suggesting above seems like it will only do a  capture sequence since it's specifically specified.
