Missing Photo Gallery Themes RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everyone,
    I have win Vista ultimate but photo gallery's slideshow gives me only
    5
    simple themes. Iam missing

        * Album
        * Collage
        * Frame
        * Glass
        * Spin
        * Stack
        * Travel

    My windows experience index is 3.3 with graphics being 3.4. i tried
    lowering my solution to the minimum (for testing purposes) but they
    still dont show up.

    Can anyone please give me a direction what can be done?
    I read about the registry hack of http://blogs.msdn.com/pix/archive/2006/08/10/694724.aspx
    but i believe it is not neccesary for me as the index is high enough.
    I also read on
    http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windows.vista.general...
    that:
    "It depends on what your graphics card supports, if it does support
    Pixel Shader 3.0 and have a WEI rating of 3.0, you won't see all the
    effects. "
    How can i find out if my graphic card supports these features?
    my graphics card is an Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family. at
    least that what i find in the device manager.

    I appreciate your help and support,
    waiting to hear from you

    Do you have the Aero feature enabled on that system?

    If it is enabled, there should be no problem displaying those menu items in Photo Gallery.

    To get the details on the Aero feature, go to Start and select Help and Support. Enter Aero in the Search Box and press Enter.

    The best resource on information for the installed graphics card is the computer manufacturer. From your description, it sounds like the system may have an 'integrated' graphics adapter.
