How to edit group policy (server 2008 R2) to allow saving a document from the Internet to a Word doc on user's desktop? RRS feed

  • Question

  • The internet site has a button to save the document you created as a Word doc.  Existing Group policy prevents saving of this document to the desktop or anywhere else.  Is there a way to edit the policy to allow only documents from this particular website to be saved as Word docs?

    Thanks in advance.

  • I believe you can only do it via Firewall or content management systems. Possible to share what enterprise firewall are you using ? watch guard ? fortinet, cisco ASA, cyberguard, juniper , sonicwall ?
