RODC SYSVOL Replication Schedule keeps reverting

Question
-
I am trying to manually adjust the replication schedule for our Read Only Domain Controller. I set it to four times per hour, every hour. I make the change on the PDC and it looks like it sets properly. I close the AD Sites and Services tool, come back, it looks good. I come back sometime later and the replication schedule has reverted back to once every 3 hours.
Thoughts?

Hi,
Is there any event occured in your RODC?
If your rodc and dc are in separate sites, they will follow the inter-site replication interval which is once every 3 hours (180 minutes).
By default, connection objects will inherit their schedule based on the site link. You could use Active Directory Sites and Services to configure the frequency setting.

Hi,
Sorry for the delay reply.
If you want to configure site link replication frequency, under Active Directory Sites and Services/Sites/Inter-Site Transports/inter-site transport folder that contains the site link you want to configure.
And connection objects to be created between two sites, however, you must manually create a link that connects the two sites.

There are no relevant events on the RODC. The RODC and the replication partner DC *are* in different sites. I have changed the schedule on the individual NTDS connection. I see the replication time on the inter-site transport link, however I am unclear the difference between the two.
For intersite, if I change the 'replicate every x minutes' option, will that propagate down to the connection settings?
