  • It already is available, but listed as Windows 10 (presumably because Edge is an OS component of Win10):

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/kb/3132806

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 (KB3124200)

    MS15-124: Cumulative Update for Windows 10 (KB3116900)

    MS15-124: Cumulative Update for Windows 10 (KB3116869)

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/security/ms15-124.aspx

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/security/ms15-125.aspx

You can check the released updates, and the release/deployment channels here:

  • What product and/or classification does Edge fall under?

  • I am confused by this screenshot. Are you telling me that Edge is automatically updated by going to v1511 of Windows 10? Is there a way to update it separately outside of the OS through WSUS without going into the catalog?

  • Windows 10 updates are cumulative updates and thus Edge is not patched independently.

    Sorry for the confusion.

Edge is part of the OS. When the OS updates are applied, this includes updates for Edge.

The screenshot shown, isn't describing an OS "upgrade" to 1511, it's showing an "update" (aka patch) which only applies to Win10 1511/10586 (and therefore doesn't apply to Win10 1507/10240).

When you apply/deploy an OS update such as the example shown, this will cause Edge to be updated/patched.
