strange calendar behaviour RRS feed

  • Question

  • Has anyone experienced the following situation:

Project 2010 Professional, using a resourcepool. About 15 projects linked to the pool. No problem.

    Update Project2010 (normal Microsoft Update).

Create new projectplan............... Saving is impossible because "the Calendar does not exist".

The Calendar however does exist. In both the resourecepool as in all existing plans.

    Any idea??????????

  • Have you by any chance moved, renamed or over-written any of teh pooll projects or have the projects spread across a wide area network (WAN)? If so it is very likely you have a file corruption. you will need to unattach all proejcts from teh pool and save them. Then create a new pool and re-attach.

  • Rod, none of the project have been moved, renamed or otherwise.

Existing project do not have any problems with the calendars.......

And the new projects are based on a template that had no problems yet.

The strange behaviour started immediately after the update of Project.......
