Win10 Anniversary Update - Not Applying Folder Redirection Policy

    Question

  • Hello All,

After hours of digging, I can't find an answer hence why I am here..

Long story short, any of my Windows 10 devices running the Anniversary Update  (Build: 1607 Update: KB3176936) are not applying our Folder Redirection Policy. All devices running any version of Windows prior to 10 as well as 10 with a build before 1607 (1511 for example) are working flawlessly.

    Any ideas?

P.S. - Rolling back the build or a system restore is not the answer!

  • Hi,

    Thanks for your post.

When did this issue start to occur? Before the issue happened, did you do any modifications? Or install any updates?

Do you mean that all the Windows 10 devices with Anniversary Update installed encountered the issue?

To narrow down the issue, please do the following checking and test:

    1. Please run RSOP/gpresult and check if the settings are applied properly.

    2. Please try to set the GPO security with group 'Authenticated Users' and 'Domain Computers' to read permission.

    Best Regards,

    Alvin Wang
