MIM 2016 - Logging Password Resets to a 3rd Party System (ServiceNow) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We've got a requirement for MIM SSPR so that password resets are logged in our ServiceNow ticketing system. ServiceNow can be accessed via SOAP web services. I haven't seen many examples of this being done, what's the best way to achieve this?

    Thanks

  • A PowerShell activity from the MIMWAL could pull this off, or you could look at a custom activity depending on how much is involved in the ServiceNow connection.

    Thanks,

  • One approach would be to add a custom workflow activity to the end of the password reset workflow that calls out to ServiceNow.

  • Hi Brian,

Can you provide some more information, would it require something like MIMWAL  to be put at the end of the password reset activity?
