    Win10 and using Process Explorer. I think this is only appearing under the column titled "path". I have series of program for which I don't see an immediate relationship, and said programs will not run. Some say [Access is denied.] or [Error opening process.]. Is this some kind of rites elevation issue or the like? I'm not done searching but so far searching for these errors has turned up nothing.

    Looks like you started Process Explorer as non Admin.. in that case the driver cannot be loaded, and all the magic PE does in kernel cannot works, so you get all the above errors.. Access denied.. error opening process..

    If you want all the features you MUST start Process Explorer as Administrator.
