Data source on SharePoint linked to user RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have linked my data source to a SharePoint folder and some other files stored on SharePoint. Everything works fine. Users work directly on the file sources. The users also have access to the PowerBi file, so they can work with the report.

The trouble I have is when some other user tries to refresh the PowerBi file. The source data path is linked to my user, so basically I am the only one who can refresh it. They can change the source with their user path and perform the operation, but then if some other user, including myself, wants to refresh it again, they will encounter the same problem...

Is there a way to link the data source without this user path?

    Thanks

If this does not, please provide more information re. what I highlighted above (what do you exactly mean with Link? In other words how do you do this) + explain (share the code) re. The trouble I have is when some other user tries to refresh the PowerBi file.
